Agenda : Jakarta 3rd Contemporary Ceramics Biennale
National Gallery of Indonesia will be held Jakarta 3rd Contemporary Ceramics Biennale “Coefficient of Expansion” on September 23rd till October 13th 2014. Tis event will be officially opened by Mari Elka Pangestu, The Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy on September 23rd,2014 at 07pm.
This event will begin with a press conference on Sunday, September 22nd, 2014, 11am at National Gallery of Indonesia.
The exhibition will be followed by dozens of ceramic artists from Indonesia and a foreign country will also hold several activities, as follow :
- Symposium “ Friction Within Cohesion” (Wednesday, 24 September 2014, 10.00-14.30) divided into 3 sessions as follows:
- Session 1 : (Most recent) Development in Ceramic Art
- Session 2 : The Movement and Extenion of Ceramic Practitioners)
- Session 3 : Ceramic art tradfition and expansion in today’s climate
- Gallery Tour, guided by Curator on Wednesday , September 24th, 2014, 3pm – 4.30pm
- Artist Talk on Thursday , September 25th, 2014, 10am-02pm
